Fixed and Removable Artificial Teeth

You can however choose if you will be more comfortable with fixed or removable teeth, or if you can handle both depending on the type you are okay with. Let us understand the two options better.

Removable artificial teeth; this is similar to the dentures that you can remove at will. This artificial tooth is usually surrounded with a plastic gum and mounted on a metal frame that holds it in place on the abutment. This can be removed for cleaning purposes or even repair after which it is taken back.
Fixed artificial teeth; unlike the removable artificial teeth, the fixed one is usually screwed into an abutment for individual implant and with this you can only clean in its place because it is not removable. Several bridged teeth can be replaced with one implant because it is usually exceptionally strong.
After the whole procedure is complete, there comes the healing process which you are supposed to treat according to the guide information you are given. There are also discomforts that may arise from the procedure such as minor bleeding, swelling of the gums and face, painful gum especially where the implant has been performed and all these are discomforts which can be brought under control by antibiotic medications.
